Peru Minca
Single-Origin
Medium Roast
Process: Washed
Altitude: 1200 - 1750 m
Tasting Notes: Black Cherry, Nutty, Grape
We’re excited to bring a new Peruvian offering to the shelves of the shop - Peru Minca!
Born in the Peruvian Andes, this coffee spoke to us as a very pleasant medium-roast. In the local Quechuan language of the Peruvian Andes, the term "Minca" denotes a unique sense of camaraderie among farmers. In periods when crops are not being harvested, neighboring groups embark on a journey from one farm to another, collaborating on tasks that require attention. They continue this cycle until the needs of all individuals are fulfilled.
Not only do we really like this concept of tending to the collective well-being, this social connection - but we also love this coffee! We hope you’ll enjoy it and grab a bag online or in person.
