Another option for the true coffee lovers, our decaf-drinking friends! We’ve had Decaf Peru on our menu for several years, and added Decaf Guatemala soon after. Our (caffeinated) Dark Roast Blend took off after we developed it - so it only makes sense that we add a decaf version for the dark roast lovers out there.
We take this Indonesian / Guatemalan blend dark, just to the edge of where it turns oily. We found this to be the perfect level where you get a nice roasty-smokiness, but can still get some nice chocolate notes without all the bitterness that charred “dark” roasts tend to have. Additionally, both of the coffees that we use in this blend are decaffeinated using the Water-Process - no harsh chemicals here!
